UW Announces Holiday Closures

Most University of Wyoming business and administrative offices will be closed Friday, Dec. 24-Monday, Jan. 3, for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays as well as winter closure.

Normal business hours will resume Tuesday, Jan. 4.

Coe Library will close at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, and it will reopen Jan. 4 at 8 a.m. All library branches will be closed Dec. 24-Jan. 3. To view hours for Coe and the library branches, visit www.uwyo.edu/libraries/research/services/hours.

Half Acre Recreation and Wellness Center will close at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 23. It will reopen Jan. 4 at 10 a.m. For more information and to view a schedule, go to www.uwyo.edu/rec/facility-hours-and-information.

LaramieLink Dial-A-Ride service will end at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23. UW transit services will be unavailable Dec. 24-Jan. 3. Regular services will resume Tuesday, Jan. 4. For more information and to view a schedule, visit www.uwyo.edu/tps/transit/holiday-schedule.html.

The UW Art Museum will close at 3 p.m. Dec. 23 and will reopen Jan. 4. Normal hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Thursdays from 10 a.m.-7 p.m.

The UW Geological Museum will close at 4 p.m. Dec. 23. The museum will reopen Monday, Jan. 3, with reduced hours (11 a.m.-2 p.m.) through Saturday, Jan. 15. Normal hours -- Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. -- will resume Tuesday, Jan. 18.

UW Shipping and Receiving will be open Monday-Thursday, Dec. 27-30, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. for incoming package deliveries and pickups. There will be no campus deliveries made to departments on these days. Department packages may be picked up from the Shipping and Receiving warehouse, located at 16th and Gibbon streets. Normal deliveries will resume Jan. 4.

The Wyoming Union will close at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 23. It will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 4, at 7:30 a.m.
