UW and Wyoming Community Navigator Program to Discuss Restaurant Challenges May 2

The pandemic fundamentally shifted the entire hospitality industry and revealed such businesses needed to update their models, systems and tools. Restaurant owners can learn how to address key industry challenges they face Tuesday, May 2.

Deagon Williams will present a Wyoming Community Navigator Program (CNP) webinar titled “Successful Hospitality Today: Addressing the Five Key Challenges in Restaurants” from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. To register, go here. Registration is free.

The Wyoming CNP, through the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network at the University of Wyoming, provides small-business resources and assistance for traditionally underserved entrepreneurs throughout Wyoming.

During the latest Wyoming CNP interactive webinar, Williams will review the five key challenges restaurants face: hiring; staff retention and team building; increasing and stabilizing sales; inflation and supply chain management; and customer experience. She will explore operational effectiveness, financial success analysis and brand development to help restaurants accomplish their plans for strategic growth and new business opportunities.

As a distinguished chef in France and California, Williams complements her valuable kitchen experience with an MBA from Mills College. She is qualified to strategically assist food businesses and organizations by providing concrete advice and strategic direction to reach their next level of success.
