UW and Wyoming Community Navigator Program to Discuss Restaurant Financial Metrics May 4

For the past three years, COVID and inflation have significantly changed the restaurant industry and its financial models. Restaurant owners can learn how to better address the financial side of their businesses Thursday, May 4.

Deagon Williams will present a Wyoming Community Navigator Program (CNP) webinar titled “The New Financial Model: How to Manage Key Financial Metrics To Be Profitable and Busy” from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. To register, go here. Registration is free.

The Wyoming CNP, through the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network at the University of Wyoming, provides small-business resources and assistance for traditionally underserved entrepreneurs throughout Wyoming.

During the latest Wyoming CNP webinar, Williams will explore financial success analysis, assess goals and analyze bottlenecks, which prevent business excellence and growth, and look at systems that support overall growth strategy. Additionally, Williams will cover breaking even; profitability; buying to the budget; financial modeling; price increases and customer retention; and reading financial reports.

As a distinguished chef in France and California, Williams complements her valuable kitchen experience with an MBA from Mills College. She is uniquely qualified to strategically assist food businesses and organizations by providing concrete advice and strategic direction to reach their next level of success.
