UW Board of Trustees to Meet May 10-12

The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees will receive updates on a variety of topics during the board’s regular meeting Wednesday-Friday, May 10-12.

The meeting will take place in person at the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center. Public sessions of the board and its committees may be observed by the public at https://wyolinks.uwyo.edu/trusteesmay/.

Committees of the board will meet Wednesday in several rooms of the Gateway Center, starting with the Facilities Contracting Committee and the Fiscal and Legal Affairs Committee at 11 a.m.

Thursday’s meeting of the full board will begin at 8 a.m. with an executive session. The public session is expected to start at 9:30 a.m.

The board will accept public testimony on any topics at 11 a.m. Thursday. Those wishing to offer verbal testimony should go to www.uwyo.edu/trustees/public-testimony/web_form.html to fill out the web form. The deadline is 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 9.

Trustees are scheduled to attend a groundbreaking ceremony for UW’s campus housing project at noon Thursday, then return to the Gateway Center for resumption of the board meeting at 1:15 p.m.

Another executive session is scheduled at 8 a.m. Friday, with the board’s business meeting from 9-11 a.m. Trustees will participate in UW’s spring graduation and commencement activities Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday.
