Graduate Student Degree Timeline

New graduate students at the University of Wyoming should follow a timeline of requirements to ensure they are on track to graduate. Initially, students with teaching duties must take the online Graduate Assistant Teaching and Learning Symposium. Throughout their program, students need to form their thesis/dissertation committee, submit a Program of Study, and, for doctoral students, pass a preliminary exam. As they approach graduation, they must complete their research product, declare their anticipated graduation date, and successfully defend their thesis or dissertation. Final steps include submitting necessary forms, completing revisions, and uploading their work to ProQuest.

Students are HIGHLY encouraged to visit the Graduate Student Degree Timeline to keep track of these requirements for graduation.
