Family Collaboration Materials

Family collaborations offer an opportunity to brainstorm solutions or share successes with families and other professionals around the state and nation.

Benefits of collaboration during an ECHO session include:

• Receive feedback on current approaches to supporting your child in home, school, and community

• Learn how to better implement best practices to achieve your family goals

• Improve individual and family outcomes through peer mentoring and family supports

• Share individual and family successes!

How to present:

1. Complete a family collaboration form.    All questions on the form are optional. Please complete at your comfort level.
2. Schedule a presentation date. (You will be contacted by a family mentor)
3. Attend session and collaborate with a family mentor to present case.
4. Engage in brainstorming and receive feedback from UW ECHO network.
5. Receive written feedback from project coordinator at UW ECHO.
6. Consider and implement feedback as appropriate for your family.
7. Participate in future sessions and share successes.
