(Winter) Welcome to UW!

Winter Welcome is a fun and engaging experience for students entering their first full-time semester at UW and allows them to arrive early to campus ahead of the spring semester. Students have the option to apply to arrive early for move-in day to check in, move into the halls, AND if you partake in our day-long college preparation camp your early move-in fees will be waived! Winter Welcome consists of student success programming and coursework, as well as additional activities and community-building events before spring classes begin on Jan. 20.

*Important* Students who have signed a spring housing contract and are planning on moving into the residence halls early must indicate that in the Winter Wecome registration form. If you participate in the full day's experience following move-in, your early move-in housing fee for three nights will be covered.

Move-In Day

Settle into your residence hall early!

Students living on campus have the option to move into the residence halls earlier than the rest of campus if they have signed a spring housing contract.

If you are planning on taking advantage of early move-in, be sure to indicate that while registering for Winter Welcome. Contact Housing and Dining at living@uwyo.edu or (307) 766-3175 and we'll help you get started!

Living Off-Campus?

Students living off-campus check in at the Winter Welcome station in the Wyoming Union, where you'll be treated to a light breakfast and have the opportunity to meet Cowboy Coaches. After check-in, you'll be ready to get started!
