Originally from Nebraska, Virginia earned her bachelor's degree in English from UW in 2024. She is now getting her master's in English, studying young adult literature, cultural staying power, and adaptation theory. As an avid reader, she hopes to use her degree to someday work in book publishing. She has presented at CWPA and been selected to be a Fellow in the Los Angeles Review of Books Summer Publishing Workshop. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking, lifting weights, taking care of her plants, camping, fishing, and hiking.
