Caleb Hoopes

Caleb was raised in Sheridan, Wyoming, where he explored the Big Horn Mountains. He graduated from the University of Wyoming in Spring 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. During his undergraduate studies, he worked extensively with a biological chemistry research group and achieved a first-author publication in the Journal of the American Chemical Society. He was excited when his chemistry research led to applications in studying heart disease. After graduating, Caleb worked as a technician in an internal medicine clinic at Ivinson Memorial Hospital, which deepened his passion for medicine. Caleb is interested in the fields of internal medicine and cardiology. During his free time, he enjoys fishing, hiking, playing spikeball, and spending time with his beautiful wife and daughter.
