Jack was born and raised in Sheridan, Wyoming. Before graduating from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. in Physiology, he served eight years in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. During his time in the military, Jack specialized in field medicine, qualified as a Fleet Marine Force Warfare Specialist, Surface Warfare Specialist, and diver, and graduated from American Military University with an A.A.S. in Health Science. Outside of the military, Jack has volunteered with various search and rescue organizations since 2018 and currently holds a position on the board of directors for the Albany County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue team, where he also serves as a rope rescue technician and wilderness medicine instructor. Jack is primarily interested in family and emergency medicine, but is eager to explore other specialties. In his free time, Jack enjoys spending days exploring the outdoors with his wife and their two dogs, and is an avid ultra-marathon runner.
