Sean Harrington

I am broadly interested in the evolution of reptiles and amphibians, especially snakes. My current research seeks to understand how geographic and environmental features drive population divergence and ultimately speciation. This includes using whole genome and sub-genomic datasets to infer population structure, estimate demographic parameters, and identify loci under selection.

I have a strong interest in helping other biologists to incorporate genomics and computational methods into their research, as well as generally expanding the computational literacy of undergraduate students.
