Faculty studying landscape ecology

Some of the pioneering studies in landscape ecology were done at Wyoming by Dennis Knight and students in the 1980's. The landscape tradition continues at Wyoming. Ongoing studies of landscape dynamics include fire, human disturbance, and patterns and movements of organisms, materials, and energy in a variety of systems.
