Ovid’s tales of transformation come to life in this adaptation juxtaposing the mythic and modern. METAMORPHOSES tells the stories of Aphrodite,  Midas, Orpheus, Cupid, and othersin a whimsical and poignant fashion,charting the joys, follies, and heartbreaks  of being human.

Sondheim’s ever-popular musical seamlessly fuses fairytale characters with what happens after the “happily ever after.” A Baker, his wife, Cinderella, Jack, Little Red Riding Hood, and the Witch all wish for something, but soon learn that there are consequences to getting what you want.
