Save the Date!

The 2023 Wyoming Blockchain Stampede scheduled September 11-15 at the University of Wyoming. The annual WyoHackathon is tentatively set to start online on Friday. September 9.

Plan now to attend a week of activities that starts with a meeting of the Wyoming Legislature’s Select Committee on Blockchain, Financial Technology and Digital Innovation Technology and ends with a concert for Stampede participants by country western performer Travis Denning.

• Monday, Sept. 11 & Tuesday, Sept. 12
  Wyoming Legislature’s Select Committee on Blockchain, Financial Technology and Digital Innovation Technology

• Wednesday, Sept. 13
  Startup Challenge.

• Thursday, Sept. 14
  Two tracks featuring speakers and panels discussing the latest about Wyoming special purpose depository institutions (SPDIs), Wyoming Stablecoin efforts, legislative and regulatory actions, FinTech and DeFi news, Wyoming blockchain business startups, cybersecurity challenges, Web3.0 developments and eSports connections to blockchain.

• Friday, Sept. 15
  Presentations by keynote speakers, lunch with Gov. Mark Gordon, eSports competition for college and high school students, and WyoHackathon and Startup Challenge winner announcements. A concert by Travis Denning concludes the week.

The event is presented by the University of Wyoming Center for Blockchain and Digital Innovation. Title sponsor is IOHK. The sponsor of the startup challenge is Blue Ocean.
