UWAA strives to keep alumni connected with their alma mater and other alumni. Each year, we coordinate events from Washington D.C. all the way to Washington State! These events give attendees valuable opportunities to connect face to face with other Wyoming alumni - sharing stories from their student days and of life since graduation.
UWAA events include receptions, dinners, luncheons, TV Watch parties, football pre-games, MWC basketball tournament pre-game parties, and meet and greets with various UW campus representatives. We also host young alumni events and arrange for discounted group tickets to sporting events such as professional baseball, basketball and lacrosse games. UWAA has coordinated golf tournaments, a dance festival in New York City, and more!
Homecoming reunions, for the young and young
at heart, are important events that allow alumni to revisit their
campus years. UWAA hosts a 50 year reunion event annually. Not only do
we coordinate reunions, but we plan various activities throughout
Homecoming weekend - campus tours, the Homecoming parade, and the
Distinguished Alumni and Medallion Service Award recognition to name
only a few.

Through the help of volunteers willing to sponsor events, we can grow the UW alumni network even more. It's easy to be a UWAA event volunteer; association staff do the planning associated with all functions. We just need people who can get involved, tell their friends, and having fun reconnecting!
If you have an idea for a get together or want to meet other people in your area who are fellow UW alumni, please contact Holly . We will work with you on a venue and ideas, send out invitations and help make your event a success! All the while, introducing you to fellow alumni and keeping the communication and networking lines open!
For those volunteers who want to more formally organize a group of interested UW alumni, the UWAA is forming University of Wyoming Alumni Networks and Chapters to provide a vital role to the UWAA – they are our connection at the local level. Networks are being formed based on geographical area and UW interest. If you are interested in starting a network and working towards a chapter, contact the Alumni Association Office for a brochure at (307) 766-4166 or email us at uwalumni@uwyo.edu.
