Cowboy Battalion Program
University of Wyoming

Our program is rooted in history and places an emphasis on excellence. Our Cadets consistently rank ahead of national cadet command averages in academics and physical fitness. By coming to our battalion you improve your chances of being sent to the following schools: Airborne, Air Assault, Mountain Warfare, Combat Diver, and Northern Warfare. In addition to these schools, we send our Cadets on Cadet Professional Development Training (CPDT) which included Cadet Advanced Individual Training (CAIT), Army Internships, and Cadet Troop Leader Training (CTLT) across the country and around the world.

The Cowboy Battalion rewards your hard work and discipline by offering you a wide range of scholarships and tuition assistance. Click on the "Scholarships and Tuition Assistance" picture below for more information.

No matter your academic interests or career goals, the Cowboy Battalion wants to help you explore them. The leadership skills you develop here will set you up for success anywhere life takes you. The Army needs more Cowboys!
