RSO Asset Storage- Applications Due February 6, 2015

The RSO Asset Storage - Locker Unit in an initiative by the ASUW Student Government to provide locker units for Recognized Student Organizations here at the University of Wyoming to store materials purchased through their own funds or through the funds distributed by the ASUW Student Government. The locker units will be located in the basement of the Wyoming Union for access during operating hours of the building. Through an application and selection process, 1 RSO per locker unit will be selected to lease, free of charge, a locker unit from the ASUW Student Government for 1 academic year. A new application and selection process will begin towards the end of every spring semester for the summer and the following academic year. Freshman Textbook Scholarship is now open!

Deadline: 2/20/15 at 4pm

Freshman Senate was established for the purpose of advocating for and benefiting the freshman class. The Freshman Senate of FY' 14 assessed the rising price of textbooks as one of the key factors of financial stress which affects academic success of students. It was determined through collaboration with the office of the Vice President of Student Affairs that a scholarship would support freshman students. The scholarship consists of five (5) $200 awards to be received by members of the freshman class, not members of the ASUW Freshman Senate, during the semester following application.

Deadline for Spring/Summer Break trips - Fri. 2/27/15

All fee paying undergraduate and graduate students are invited to apply for the ASUW Service-Learning Exchange Scholarship. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial support to students participating in service-learning exchanges that foster a passion for volunteerism, promote leadership development, and help to create well-rounded students.


Every fee-paying student is a member of the Associated Students of the University of Wyoming.  So, ASUW student government acts as the voice of the students.  We urge every student to GET INVOLVED, whether it be in student government or in any number of other student organizations.
