Want to get involved in ASUW? Running for a seat in the Senate or for the Presidential ticket is a great start!

Elections are held in the Spring for the following school year and students have an opportunity to run for a seat to represent students in their college in the ASUW Senate or for President and Vice President. ASUW hosts numerous information sessions in February for students to learn more about the responsibilities of Senators, the President and Vice President, and the code for our elections. From there, students run a campaign in March and results are posted in April. Below is the timeline for this year's election, the seat allocation of the Senate, and important forms and policies.

The elections timeline and elections code change from year to year, as our ASUW by-laws mandate that the Senate must approve the timeline and new elections code. Updates to this page typically occur in the month of February. If you have any questions, feel free to email asuwgov@uwyo.edu

Elections Timeline for the 2021-2022 Academic Year
