Great Job UWYO ASCE!

We had 16 students and 3 Faculty Advisors in attendence.

Score Summary:

We had one student win FIRST place in Mystery Design! Congratulations Ellen Studebaker!

Ellen is a Freshman this year, and is the younger member officer for our student chapter section.

We had a student take SECOND for the Mead paper! Congratulations to Jake Summerall!

Jake is a Sophomore this year and is also the Secretary for our section.

Student Steven Rothwell came in fourth overall (after a stiff time penalty) for his technical paper on Concrete Strain Cracking. Steven is a junior this year and our sections treseasurer.

Zach Hutson and Justin Bayles came in fourth overall for the Pre-design competion in which they had to develop a theoretical design for abating poor air quality in an orphanage in Masaka, Uganda. Justin Bayles is a Freshman in engineering this year. Zach Hutson will graduate next semester and is currently our student chapter president.

Our Concrete Canoe team finished Fifth overall. Thank you to Senior Ryan Johnson, this years Canoe Chairman!

Our Steel Bridge Team took Fifth overall. Thank you to Ron Prevost and Ryan Cates for seeing the Bridge through!

Overall University of Wyoming took fourth place at this years Rocky Mountain Conference, hosted by Utah State University!
