All students admitted to the University of Wyoming's Chemistry department are fully funded through Graduate (teaching or research) Assistantships. By submitting your application to the department, you are simultaneously requesting funding; no additional steps are required.
$27,500 to $30,000 for the first year + a full tuition waiver + medical insurance . Chemistry Department fellowships are limited and are reserved for outstanding candidates. Fellowship selection is made on a competitive basis. Fellowships are often awarded for a single year. In the second year, Fellows normally revert to either a teaching or research assistantship with a minimum stipend of $25,500 per year.
The distinguished graduate fellowship will be offered to outstanding Ph.D. applicants. The fellowship entails $25,000 TA annual stipend and a $13,000 augmentation. The fellowship will be distributed as $5,000 for the first academic year, $3,000 for the first summer, and $5,000 for the second academic year.
