Criminal Justice (CJ) is a social science that critically examines the causes and control of criminal behavior.  The CJ Department is interdisciplinary: criminologists, political scientists, sociologists, psychologists, anthropologists, and many others contribute their knowledge to the field.

Our commitment is to provide a broad liberal arts education.  We believe this will help prepare our students for a variety of professions, such as those in
