What We Do

The Dean of Students Office assists students who are navigating non-academic issues that have academic impacts.

 

When to start with the Dean of Students Office

  • You need to miss class for an unanticipated emergency or extraordinary circumstance
  • You need to withdraw from the University for the semester
  • You or someone you know has experienced sexual or interpersonal violence
  • You experienced an extraordinary personal issue that is significantly impacting your academic involvement
  • You have a pregnancy-related condition and need support to participate fully in academics
  • You want to apply for academic support related to a temporary or permanent disability
