I graduated from the University of Wyoming in the late 1980’s with a BA in English. I love learning, and through the years I’ve studied French, acting, screenwriting, voiceover, and massage. I also taught massage for eight years at a naturopathic university. In 2011, I earned an ATA in Information Security and Digital Forensics and I’ve worked in cybersecurity ever since. Through the master’s program, I hope to further develop my technical writing and communication skills.

Research Interests: I am interested in just about anything to do with writing or literature.

I am a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Hilo on Hawaii island with a B.A. in English. I am an avid paddler, a casual cyclist, and enjoy a good hike when time allows. I am a voracious reader and love comic books as much as a good novel or biography. I love writing, but have spent more time writing lesson plans, test items, and reports than anything creative in way too long a time. I would like to get back to my writing and sketching and plan on doing so soon. I enjoy traveling as much as I do returning home and am looking forward to this journey.

I graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.A. in Music. I currently teach piano and music theory in my music studio and homeschool my 4 children. The English Masters program at UW is helping me to extend my understanding and credentials. I hope to get my PsyD after completing this program and go on to use music and literature as methods for therapy and healing, especially in working with the elderly. My personal interests include painting, reading, sourdough baking, hiking gorgeous trails and mountains, riding bikes with my family, doing puzzles, and singing.

I graduated from California State University, Stanislaus with a B.A. in English, graduated from Brandman University’s teaching credential program, and have taken numerous courses at various places such as Southern Utah University and the University of San Diego. I’ve been a high school English teacher for 7 years and aspire to become an English Professor at a 2 or 4-year college. Like a typical English graduate, I absolutely love reading. One of my favorite genres is dystopian fiction - there’s just something about the human condition that shines through in a dystopian world. My other interests include horseback riding, cruising, and camping.
