Office of Career & Professional Development

The Office of Career and Professional Development provides career and professional development advising and programming for students and alumni. The office of Director of Career & Professional Development, is available to meet with students and alumni to develop job search strategies and planning, resume and cover letter review, and oversees the online job database through UW Career Connections. She also works closely with other College administrators, faculty, and staff to provide quality professional development opportunities for alumni.

The Office of Career & Professional Development works closely with employers to post positions, collect application materials, and provide high quality interactions with alumni and students.  Employers may contact the Office regarding job postings, resume collection, on-campus interviewing, and other available services by sending an email to lawcare@uwyo.edu or by calling (307) 766-4074. Upcoming Events for the Wyoming State Bar!

The University of Wyoming College of Law, Office of Career Services invites you to participate in an upcoming ethics CLE. The schedule can be found below. The program has been approved by the Wyoming State Bar for one (1) ethics CLE. Not on the list? Please reach out to the Director of Career Services to express interest in your city! 

This presentation will serve as a refresher on how to ethically supervise attorneys, paralegals, interns and secretaries. It will address common pitfalls and mistakes even a seasoned attorney can forget. Additionally, we will cover what makes a more productive supervisor, how to give meaningful feedback and create an effective office environment.

The Do’s and Don’ts of Ethical Supervision under the Wyoming Rules of Professional Responsibility
