Associate Professor Temple Stoellinger has been selected as a member of the 2023-24 cohort of the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources (SEER) Leadership Development Program.

The Leadership Development Program supports members of the ABA Section who wish to expand a current leadership role or grow their knowledge of the Section so they can assume a SEER leadership role in the future.

Stoellinger is among twelve Section members from law firms, universities, and local governments who were selected.

At the University of Wyoming, Stoellinger is a Wyoming Excellence Chair with a dual appointment in the College of Law and the Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources. She is co-director of the College of Law Center for Law and Energy Resources in the Rockies.

Stoellinger coordinates the College of Law and Haub School’s joint JD/MA program in Environment and Natural Resources and teaches wildlife law, public land law, environmental and natural resources law and policy, and a course on the National Environmental Policy Act. Her scholarship integrates law, economics, and policy to explore new approaches for decision-making around wildlife, land, energy, and other natural resources.

Her article, “Conserving Wildlife and Biodiversity in the United States and European Union” appears in the current issue of Natural Resources & Environment, the quarterly magazine of the ABA Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources.
