The winter 2024 issue of UWyo Magazine explores how UW touches every corner of the state.

Law Librarian Tawnya Plumb is featured on the cover and in an article by UWyo editor Micaela Meyers for her work to expand access to legal resources through libraries in Wyoming. Says Plumb, “I strongly believe in the land-grant university’s mission to serve the state. There is a state, individual and court need for this work. We struggle in Wyoming with folks who cannot afford legal representation and represent themselves in the courts.”

The UWyo winter issue highlights UW College of Law pro bono legal clinics and practicums. Students under the supervision of faculty directors served clients in 20 of Wyoming’s 23 counties in 2023. The magazine’s Career Celebrations section profiles University of Wyoming College of Law Dean’s Advisory Board member Joe Evers J.D./M.A. 2013 and recent graduate Kenna Blaney 2023.
