    University of Wyoming Alumni Association Nursing Chapter


    1. PAY DUES
      The first step in becoming a member of the University of Wyoming Alumni Association Nursing Chapter is to pay dues for UWAA NURSING MEMBERSHIP.  You "purchase" that membership by clicking into this handy link, which takes you to the UWAA page where you can do that online, if you'd like.  Click into the link below.     Miller retired May 2018 after 44 years in nursing, 30 of those years teaching at UW Fay W. Whitney School of Nursing. | MILLER'S HOPE FOR UWAANC: "Collaborating with former students--now my nursing colleagues--will be very rewarding. My hope is to contribute to the mentoring and development of our current and future nursing colleagues."

    Hluwood works full-time in the NICU at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado, and is adjunct faculty at University of Northern Colorado. | HLUWOOD'S HOPE FOR UWAANC: "...To bolster UW nursing alumni connections amongst each other and also with current students, allowing for even better networking opportunities."

    Niemoller retired in 2015 from the position as Administrator of Ivinson Memorial Hospital Extended Csare Facility. She also serves on UW Nursing's "Friends" development board as well as Vice Chair of Wyoming Center for Nursing. | NIEMOLLER'S HOPE FOR UWAANC: "I hope to serve and help the chapter grow into a large active group of nurses who share a profound pride in the School of Nursing."

    Schindler works on the oncology/medical floor at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. | SCHINDLER'S HOPE FOR UWAANC: "I want to help build connections with fellow, past, and future nurses...and reach out and support others in our same field."

    Williams currently teaches at the Fay W. Whitney School of Nursing in undergraduate programs on campus and online. | WILLIAMS' HOPE FOR UWAANC: "I am looking forward to supporting the UW Nursing Alumni Association and helping to make this group active and recognized."
