The UW Outreach School brings the University of Wyoming to you
The mission of the UW Outreach School is to extend the University of Wyoming's educational programs to the people of the state of Wyoming and beyond with innovative distance learning programs and unique opportunities for learners of many ages, interests, locations, and motivations.
Our work at the UW Outreach School is about such things as dreams and renewal, and about learning in many forms - from an intriguing new piece of music heard over the radio, to the triumph of the completion of a degree by the first person in a family to go to college. We deliver distance learning program opportunities in a number of formats through technology.
UW Outreach School programs and services are organized under four units, with Outreach Regional Centers located in communities throughout Wyoming. Our four units are Outreach Credit Programs, UW/CC Center, Outreach Technology Services & UWTV, and Wyoming Public Media.
