While the University is currently reorganizing the Outreach School units, be assured the services these units provide will continue as a vital resource and service to the state and the University of Wyoming!

Outreach Unit Site Directory

Saturday University (Saturday U) features lectures by outstanding University of Wyoming and participating community college professors at various locations throughout Wyoming during the Fall and Spring terms. Following the lectures, all three professors will participate in a final roundtable discussion. Participants may attend one, two, three, or all four sessions. No registration is required, and there is no charge.

The Office of Summer Session & J-Term (Winter Session) Courses

Summer Session offer a flexible schedule of over 400 courses that cater to all audiences.  From the student looking to catch up or get ahead on credits, the student looking for a study-abroad opportunity,  the incoming first-year or transfer student looking to begin their UW career right away or a visiting guest or special student looking to take a class while they are in the area, University of Wyoming Summer Session courses offers unique compressed learning opportunities!

J-Term (Winter Session) Courses occur in the time period between the end of the fall semester and the beginning of the spring semester.  J-Term Courses include; Travel (international and domestic) courses, Wyoming based (Jackson Hole, WY) field courses, and Hybrid (in class and/or on-line) courses and provide an opportunity for students to earn additional credits that will assist them in their academic goals!

Wyoming Public Media  Fifty years ago, students and staff in the Student Union gathered together to sign an application to become, KUWR, Wyoming’s “Educational FM Station”.

The Division of Outreach Technology (OTS) provides technological support for the credit and non-credit programs and services offered through the Outreach School. The division units are University of Wyoming Television (UWTV), Outreach Video Network (OVN), and Outreach Engineering.
