Before You Enroll

Important things to know before you register

• You do not have to be admitted to the University of wyoming to take correspondence study courses.
• You can register for a course at any time.
• You have nine months to complete a course from the date you register.
• You are not allowed to complete a course in fewer than 12 weeks.
• Financial aid cannot be used to pay for a correspondence study course.
• Correspondence study courses do not count toward your credit hours for the semester while you are taking them. when you finish, your course is posted directly to your transcript and counts for full credit. 

Course Availability

It is sometimes necessary for correspondence study courses to be temporarily closed to new enrollments. This most commonly occurs when a textbook used for a course goes out of print. Courses may also be closed because of a shortage of supplies, or an instructor who is no longer available.

If you mail in a registration form or an enrollment request for a course that has been discontinued, your tuition and fees will be returned or, if requested, applied to another course with the same tuition and fees.

How to Register

Don't register until you are ready to start class!

Students must complete their coursework within nine months of their course registration date.

Fill out the registration form from the printed schedule (request schedule), or print the Web Registration Form and send in to the address below with check, money order, or MasterCard/Visa card number. If paying by check or money order, please make payable to the University of Wyoming and note course number(s) on your check.
