Family and Consumer Science-Professional Development Program
Completion of this degree prepares students for teaching and administrative positions in early childhood development and care. In addition to an existing associate’s degree, applicants must have successfully completed required prerequisite course work.

RN/BSN Completion Program
The RN/BSN Completion option is designed for the associate degree or diploma nursing graduate, or a Wyoming associate degree nursing student who wishes to further his or her education to the baccalaureate level in nursing.

Applied Science-Organizational Leadership
Community college graduates with an associate of applied science (A.A.S.) or an associate of arts or science (A.A. or A.S.) degree and work experience will be able to earn a degree from the University of Wyoming under a bachelor’s of applied science (B.A.S.) degree track.

Nursing BRAND
BRAND is an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program for either students with a previous non-nursing baccalaureate degree or who desire to become a registered nurse. The degree is intended to capitalize on a student’s previous studies and education while providing an opportunity to obtain a second bachelor’s degree in nursing in a summer-to-summer format.

Criminal Justice
Criminal Justice (CJ) is a social science that critically examines the causes and control of criminal behavior. The CJ Department is interdisciplinary: criminologists, political scientists, sociologists, psychologists, anthropologists, and many others contribute their knowledge to the field. We believe this will help prepare our students for a variety of professions, such as those in: Local, State, and Federal Law Enforcement, Court Administration,  Law School, Probation and Parole, Corrections, the Military, Homeland Security, and Private Security.

Social Science
The University of Wyoming’s Bachelor of Arts or Sciences in social science (distributed major) gives students a multi-disciplinary approach that allows flexibility in selecting courses from a variety of areas. Upon graduation, students will have gained a broad knowledge of liberal arts.

3+1 Horticulture;  Sheridan, Wyoming Only
The Department of Plant Sciences is developing a pilot horticul- ture program available to students at Sheridan College who have earned their associates degree. Students complete their freshman and sophomore years at Sheridan College (earning the horticulture degree). The third year is completed via distance from Sheridan, and the senior year is completed in Laramie on the University of Wyoming  campus in the Plant Sciences Department.
