Rod Thompson joined the UW/CC Center in 2003, where he prepares individuals for a career in technical education. His research interests include worker shortages connected to declining technical high school programs, and technical student organizations and the increased academic achievement of student participants. Thompson is an active faculty adviser for the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association (TECA), and assists in the annual Skills USA activities for local middle schools.
