What is Staff Senate?
Governed by UW Regulation 1-3, Staff Senate was established in 1977 and represents UW staff employees, including
both exempt and nonexempt. Staff Senate works together with the administration, faculty,
students, and trustees for the betterment of the University of Wyoming. We encourage
communication, advocate for staff development, and address staff concerns.
Over the years, Staff Senate has been instrumental in bringing numerous benefits and policy improvements to our constituents.
Staff Senate meets on the first Wednesday of each month (except for July) at 1:15
p.m. in the Senate Chambers in the Wyoming Union and via Zoom – Meeting ID: 998 0483 0698. Guests are welcome to attend!
If you couldn't make it to our May meeting, you can view the recording here. The passcode is g&6R6Zi@.
Serving on Staff Senate
Staff Senate currently has vacancies, and we encourage any staff member who is interested
