The UW Community College Leadership Certificate is an online, 15-credit program to help you advance into community college management and leadership roles.

Application Deadlines

Admission Requirements

Domestic Students

  • GPA: 3.0
  • GRE: no requirement

International Students

  • TOEFL: 550 minimum written or 80 minimum online, OR IELTS: 6.5 minimum overall score
  • GRE: 151 in verbal, 153 quantitative; 4.0 in analytical writing

Community College Leadership Graduate Certificate Program Highlights

The Community College Leadership Certificate is a flexible graduate program that provides a 9-credit core in community college and higher education studies combined with 6 credits of electives that allow you to build your expertise based on your interests and organizational needs. The graduate certificate program is designed for community college professionals, who already have a master’s degree and want to transition into leadership roles at these important institutions.
