The WIND Consumer Advisory Council (CAC) provides input from the viewpoint of people with disabilities and/or their family members on projects that WIND is planning or that are in process. The CAC meets regularly twice a year in April and November, so that CAC members can meet as part of the larger WIND Advisory group. CAC members also participate in conference calls on a regular basis.  Specific members may meet more often to provide input to  projects in which they have expertise or interest. CAC members continue to develop disability awareness materials that are targeted toward youth.  These materials are distributed statewide, and have been requested nationally and internationally.  If necessary, additional meetings are held in the summer to facilitate travel and to enable participation by people that might have difficulty traveling in the spring or fall.
