The Wyoming Center on Aging is dedicated to providing trustworthy and credible information about aging-related topics. We feature resources for healthcare professionals, students, faculty, older adults, and family caregivers. We have many formats ranging from online education to a lending library of DVDs, videos and publications.

Dementia Support Services

The Wyoming Center on Aging offers resources for caregivers and people with dementia with the goal of enhancing the dementia-capability of our community through education, and provision of home and community-based services. We offer evidence-based interventions to meet the specific needs of people with dementia, and their family members. Additionally, training programs are available for community members, first responders, health care and service providers interested in increasing their ability to provide dementia-capable care. 

Healthy U

Healthy U is a health promotion program designed to help anyone over the age of 18 play an active and productive role in their own health management. Anyone is welcome to participate; individuals who suffer from one or more chronic illnesses may find Healthy U particularly useful. Caregivers and friends of those who would benefit from health self-management also make great participants.

The Wyoming Aging and Disability Resources Center website is designed to help connect older adults and people with disabilities to a variety of helpful information and services. Our easy-to-use search engine can help you find what you’re looking for based on keyword, location, or type of service. Our extensive database of resources is unbiased, tailored specifically to Wyoming residents, and always growing.

The goal of the Healthier Wyoming website is to empower all Wyoming residents to take charge of their health by providing a comprehensive directory of chronic disease prevention and management resources throughout the state.
