The mission of the Department of Veterinary Sciences and Wyoming State Veterinary Laboratory is to provide accessible, timely, accountable, and accurate diagnostic services, animal disease research, & education to veterinarians, students, others interested in animal health, and the people of Wyoming.
The Wyoming State Veterinary Laboratory is a fully accredited laboratory committed to the maintenance of a quality assurance program that ensures that all procedures and documentation are in compliance with the quality standards of the American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians (AAVLD).
In response to client inquiries we have a new electronic option for EIA/Coggins submission through GlobalVetLink (GVL). This is an electronic submission method similar to VSPS, which we also accept. Digital images of the animal can be uploaded and a digital signature is used on the EIA forms. Digital health certificates can also be produced.
GlobalVetLINK is an easy online system for Coggins test submissions, certificate creation and reporting. It creates professional looking documents and allows you uninterrupted access to your records. Please note that our receiving lab still requires that a submission form be sent with the samples. These can easily be printed from GVL.Please mention us if you choose to sign up for the service! GVL will waive the first 3 months of their monthly subscription fee and their first annual fee for new customers.
