University Testing Center

The University Testing Center is committed to providing high quality testing services for members of the University Community thereby supporting the achievement of their educational goals.

 

Persons seeking admission, employment or access to programs of the University of Wyoming shall be considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age, veteran status, sexual orientation or political belief.

Making An Appointment

Most exams require online registration. For more information on costs and registration, click on the testing company links below.


Please take the following into consideration when making an appointment:

  • To register for a Pearson Vue Certification exam such as Comp Tia or Cisco etc., go to www.pearsonvue.com. To register for the FE exam (Fundamentals of Engineering) go to www.ncees.org.

  • You can take the GRE and Praxis computer-based tests almost any time we are open as long as there are appointments available that fit within their testing windows.

  • For ETS computer-based tests such as the GRE, Praxis and TOEFL, there are no scheduling deadlines but we recommend making an appointment in advance. During the last half of Fall Semester, we recommend making an appointment 3 to 4 weeks in advance. You can register for these exams at the ets.org website.

  • The GMAT is offered everyday we are open. To register for the GMAT, go to www.mba.com.

  • For testing with Disability Support Services, please visit the Disability Support Services website or call 1-307-766-3298.

  • For Math Placement Exams, please contact the math department at 1-307-766-6831 or visit the Department of Mathematics website.

  • Please be aware that appointment times, fees, rescheduling, and cancellation policies can vary for every test.

  • Please contact the testing center if you're having trouble making an appointment or if you have any questions about the exams we offer.
