WyoFolio & WyoVita
Your review, tenure, and promotion cases will be managed in WyoFolio. This is where you will upload your required documents. Faculty activity reporting takes place in WyoVita, where you record all activities throughout your career. WyoVita takes these reported activities and uses them to generate your CV.
See our WyoFolio and WyoVita pages for trainings and tutorials on how to navigate your cases and report your activities.
Tenure Track Faculty
Instructional Guides
Academic personnel in tenure track appointments must chronicle their scholarly achievements, teaching accomplishments, service and outreach/engagement endeavors, and extension activities (where appropriate in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources) in a comprehensive portfolio.

Non-Tenure Track Faculty
Non-tenure track faculty on academic appointments with an annual or multiple year fixed-term (with no rolling contract) must be reviewed annually and prior to reappointment. There is no university level review by the University in the promotion path for non-tenure track faculty on annual or multiple year fixed-term (with no rolling contract). Unit and/or college standards for promotion will govern promotion requirements and the contents of the review portfolio.
Non-tenure track faculty on academic appointments with or eligible for fixed-term with rolling contracts must keep a comprehensive record of their accomplishments.
- Example of Fixed-term Rolling Contract (FTRC) timeline
- First-year review - completed after first fall semester
- Second-year review - completed during annual review in accordance with unit and college procedures
- Fixed-term review - during third year of probationary period
- Review for rolling a contract forward - completed during annual review
Decisions regarding fixed-term with rolling contract, promotion in rank, and rolling
a contract forward shall follow a thorough performance review as described in Standard
Administrative Policies and Procedures, as well as college and unit procedures.
