Typical Timeline for Institutional Program Review

  • Review notifications issued to departments / programs that will undergo next AY review (notification to go out by mid-January)
  • Programs begin organizing and start self-study
  • Programs select a list of reviewers and provide to Provost's office. (Provost's office handles invitations)
  • Programs turn in self-study by August.
  • Program and Review Specialist makes site visit schedule 
  • Site visit by external review team
  • External review team produces and submits final report.
  • Departments meet to discuss external report and gather department comments.
  • Meeting with Adminstrators to review external reports and provide department comments.
