Summer Class Registration

Registering for classes at UW is simple and easy! Summer course registration is similar to fall and spring registration; however, there are some differences:

      1. Summer registration opens on March 2nd for all student populations. Check with your academic advisor for availability for summer advising or schedule an appointment for summer advising through Navigate.

      2. Summer courses have highly variable start and end dates - make sure to look at the start and end dates of the summer course for which you want to enroll to make sure it will work with your schedule.

      3. Visit UW's summer course website to learn more about summer course offerings, the $400 Level Up Scholarship Program, tuition and fees, housing options and so much more.

*Students will no longer have an advising hold on their account if they register for summer classes between March 2nd and March 15th. Starting on March 16th, The Office of the Registrar will place advising holds on all student accounts for summer and fall classes, at which point students will need to speak with an advisor to lift the advising hold to register for summer and fall classes.

If you are unsure of who your advisor is, visit our UW Advising Directory and navigate to your college's academic advising pages. Follow the below steps to navigate through WyoRecords and Banner to find and register for your classes. Click on each step below to learn how to complete that step in the registration process.
