A BM in education prepares students to teach vocal and instrumental music in public schools, grades K-12. This degree is accepted by the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board and qualifies the student to receive a teaching certificate (license).
This degree prepares students for various careers in music, private teaching and graduate school. BM degrees are offered with vocal, keyboard or instrumental emphasis.
This general degree balances music studies with a liberal arts degree. BA students often go on to graduate school, performance careers, private teaching or other related music careers.
Not considering a degree in music, but still want to be involved in our department?
