Are you an enthusiast for all things artsy? Don’t worry—we got you. Even though Laramie is known for its outdoorsy, rugged activities, we are also proud of the thriving culture that permeates our vibrant little town. Whether you’re tired of sitting inside during these cold winter months, or you’re just looking for something to warm your soul, check out some of these creative activities around the community.
Located downtown, this cozy local studio lets you unleash your inner artist. Just pick a piece and paint your heart away! Not only is pottery painting a therapeutic activity, but you'll get a lovely piece of artwork to take home. The best part? No one is judging! Art & Soul is open most days noon to 6 p.m., and they also offer classes and event hosting.

Film is its own unique form of art. Regal Fox movie theater offers big screen showings of classics for the movie lovers out there. Though these films are obviously available on DVD, it can be a magical experience to see an old film on the big screen.
Coal Creek Coffee Company, has two locations in Laramie (uptown and downtown). It prides itself on being a gathering place for creators, thinkers, and people of all talents. They regularly hold open mic nights for citizens to be heard through song, speech, or whatever the heart desires. Grab a hand-crafted drink and watch, or perform yourself. Visit their Facebook page for more details.
It's hard to miss all the inspiring murals plastered around downtown Laramie. Laramie Mural Project facilitates the creation of these murals in the interest of reflecting the cultural assets of our city.
