Following the racist Zoom attack on Dr. Dixon's Black History Month event sponsored by the Black Studies Center, President Seidel hosted a virtual town hall with Dr. Fredrick Douglass Dixon, Dr. Jacquelyn Bridgeman, UW’s Kepler Professor of Law and director of the School of Culture, Gender and Social Justice, and Timberly Vogel, the Black Studies Center director of community engagement. The town hall can be viewed on Youtube, and President Seidel has committed to hosting future town halls followed by substantial action.
