Graduate Record Exam (GRE) Scores

Send your GRE scores directly from the testing agency to the University of Wyoming. Use the following codes:

• Institution Code: 4855

• Department code: 1102

You can request additional score reports at www.gre.org. Our graduate program committee accepts photocopies for review purposes, but official scores are required for admission.

A minimum score of at least 298 total on the GRE Test Score.

TOEFL Scores

Send your TOEFL scores directly from the testing agency to the University of Wyoming. Use the following codes:

You can request additional score reports at www.toefl.org.

We expect minimum scores of: 550 paper-based, 76 internet-based, or 6.0 IELTS.

Graduate Admissions Application

In the application, you will be asked to upload documents and submit references for the initial departmental review. Please make sure to upload all the requested documents and submit all necessary references. You will not need to have official transcripts, test scores, or additional documents sent to UW Admissions for the initial departmental review. If recommended for admission by the department, you will then need to have official transcripts sent from all colleges or universities you have attended and official test scores (GRE/GMAT-if required for department admission, TOEFL/IELTS-for international applicants) sent from the testing agency to the Office of Admissions (ETS UW school code: 4855). Any additional documents required by UW Admissions for formal admission will be requested at this time as well.
