All admitted Graduate students are considered for funding, however, admission does
not guarantee funding. All our faculty members have different labs for research that
Graduate students can have the opportunity to work in as well.
The UW Computer Science Graduate Program requires a cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0
(out of 4.0) on previous coursework for full admission.
A complete application is required before the department will review the applications.

The MSCS Quick Start program in Computer Science (COSC) is designed to present highly
qualified
UW students with the opportunity to begin graduate study while they complete their
bachelor of
science (BS) degree in COSC. These students may apply for admission to the Quick Start
program
during the second semester of their junior year or during their senior year.
