Cybersecurity Research Awarded NSA Grant

University of Wyoming Assistant Professor of Computer Science Mike Borowczak and Associate Professor of Secondary Education Andrea Burrows have been awarded their second NSA GenCyber Grant to host a week-long summer camp in Casper, WY. The grant supports several undergraduate and graduate students to create novel content and aid in teaching the cybersecurity camp to 8th-12th grade students from June 24th-28th. In 2018, the NSA GenCyber-Wyoming team reached over 65 middle and high-school students/teachers in Wyoming, created five unique micro-bit based cyber-security lessons, and developed a DEFCON inspired wearable badge for all participants. Resources are freely available at
