Graham Marema grew up in the blue foothills of the Smoky Mountains, and the creatures and hollows of that region continue to sneak into her writing even after living out west for several years. She studied English at Davidson College, where she received the Vereen Bell Award for fiction. She is currently pursuing her MFA in fiction at the University of Wyoming, along with a concurrent degree in Environment & Natural Resources.

Lena (Sunada-Matsumura) Newlin is a fourth-generation Wyomingite and a descendant of Japanese Americans incarcerated on the basis of their ancestry during WWII at Heart Mountain, Wyoming. She recently left behind a 22-year career in Public Health to focus on writing a book about her family history. Her writing has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and appears in Solstice Literary Magazine, DoveTales: A Writing for Peace Literary Journal of the Arts, High Desert Journal, and Enculturation. She has two kids and a very patient husband who is graciously supporting her midlife crisis.

Sam Sharp was born and raised in north central Ohio. He writes about complicated relationships between people, animals, and the places we inhabit. A former janitor, research assistant, rat dad, and Outward Bound instructor, he is also the recipient of the Thomas Freeman Nature Writing Award. He is currently pursuing an MFA in Nonfiction & Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Wyoming.

Will is a writer currently residing in Central Maine who grew up in South Jersey. He has helped concept and produce creative work for brands around around the world for the past decade. Now his primary focus is on writing fiction that explores the inexplicable, sporadic magic that can be found in place and the intersection of spirituality, identity and belonging. He can be found walking his dog, drinking coffee, and being around what he can hopefully write about. His work has been published in The Dunes Review.
