Department of English

The department of English has three graduate programs: a Master of Arts in English, a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, and a PhD in Public Humanities. Graduate students with an assistantship may teach English 1010, English 2020, Creative Writing 1040, English 4010, and other courses as needed.

The English department admits students to its low-residency online program when resources allow. Each cohort starts in the summer with a one-week campus residency and takes three years to complete the program.
