Associate Director of Assessment

Heather is the Associate Director of Assessment for the Division of Assessment and Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). She completed her MA in Higher Education Administration at the University of Wyoming in 2018 and recently completed coursework for her Ed.D. in the same field. Her scholarly interests include higher education access and success for underrepresented student populations. Her areas of expertise include assisting individuals and families in addressing social determinants and internal policies impacting access in adult education, higher education and healthcare.

Assessment and Faculty Development Specialist

Carl is the Assessment & Faculty Development Specialist in the ECTL. Carl completed his BS in Journalism from the University of Wyoming, his MA in Educational Policy and Leadership Studies from the University of Iowa, and is currently a PhD Candidate in Higher Education Administration at UW. His areas of scholarly interest include masculinity studies, college athletics, as well as student accountability and violence prevention in higher education.

Assessment Specialist, Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL)

Si (pronounced 'sai') is the Assessment Specialist, Scholarship of Teaching & Learning (SoTL) at ECTL. He earned his PhD in Educational Policy, Planning & Leadership from the College of William & Mary. Before his PhD studies, he worked for five years as a full-time instructional faculty member, teaching English as a Second Language to undergraduate students. His scholarly interests include classroom assessment, teacher training, and learning design. His areas of expertise include performance assessment design and program evaluation.
